Rapp Auction 2017
LIVE!
November 14th-16th 2017
Besides a very fine selection of single lots, you’ll also find an almost endless variety of advanced country collections, specialised objects, exhibition and thematic collections, dealer’s stocks, and large lots of covers of different areas. As the pièce de résistance of this year’s single lots, we are delighted to introduce a true rarity: the 10-rupee Mahatma Gandhi stamp with the “Service” overprint.
The exhibition "L'Excellence Suisse - Switzerland's most precious coins" we held at the start of this year in the gallery of our auction house generated a tremendous response. Thanks to this positive reaction, and the international reach of this special event, we received some very fine objects for the auction. As a result, rarities that had sometimes languished in a safe for decades saw the light of day again, and will now find their way into another collection. The offerings include single pieces and collections, from antiquity to the present day, from the Roman denarius to the rare «Vreneli», from the exquisitely designed shooting medal to the extensive accumulation of bullion coins.
Our offer contains a numerous selection of jewellery of well-known names such as Tiffany's New York, Cartier, David Webb, Bulgari etc. On offer are jewels, coloured gemstones, diamonds, pearls and creations, exclusively from private collections. The offering also includes exceptional watches by renowned luxury brands such as Patek Philippe, Rolex, IWC, Omega, Jaeger-LeCoultre etc. Join us to experience the debut auction in our new section.
